Bay of Islands- New Zealand

So im going fishing in the Bay of Islands in december this year... Just wondering if anyone has fished it before and what to expect. Also best baits and tackle needed etc

You will love it mate! It is many years since I've been there but just jump on any boat or buy a local a carton, then snapper snapper snapper and a few other yummies inbetween. Bay of Islands is a magical place. You wont be disappointed.
