im thinking off heading to manly boat harbour next saturday or sunday early morning is it worth it?

definately, there are some seriously nice boats in that joint !

there are pike on the rock wall out the front which are fun on light gear. maybe a tailor around if you're lucky

If you don't do any good in the boat harbour try walking North till you get up the end where the canal and bost ramp is.

There is some kind of cement thing going out to a marker, I used to catch flathead walking out and casting onto the flats on high tide.

Personally I find manly boat harbour and that area either overfished or the fish are so transient they only come and go for half an hour.

But have caught flathead there on plastics, not many though.

Also yes a tonne of pike to pick your placcys to bits.
