Pine river bridge at night

Anyone had any succes at the bridge at night recently. I will most likely be going there tonight , high tide is around 8 tonight. Is it worthwhile bringing some of my heavier gear ? I want to hook onto some big cats or rays , are there any there ?

Heaps of both just make sure you have your bait hard on the bottom and you will get heaps of cats n rays.......Why?

Ive never really caught anything to big in my life , And I know rays put up a good fight and they can be found in this system so id thought I shall target them.

Some mullet strips about 5cm long and 2cm wide will work wonders, make sure your leader os short to keep it on the bottom

Yeah mate even better, some thumper pike eels in there too

Stay down round deep water bend and sink a few livies and you may do better than rays and cats..
