Some mates of mind found it floating belly up INSIDE currimundi, just near the 'mouth' :ohmy:

Any ideas what it is/why it was there?

Yeah a nice cod. Shame its dead. Maybe a swallowed lure or something?

With the big jacks etc that come from the back end of that lake its not surprising there would be a few cod like that in there. One less now though

up in townsville they have had a problem with massive cod dieing for no reason. might be worth notifying the dpi... there seems to be a major problem with them at the moment, possibly a new parasite or virus
