Been catching a few of these things on a regular basis and have always just put them back to fight another day, but sureley they must be made into a meal for someone out there?

Does anyone admit to keeping them for a feed or do you other uses? Also do they have a min size limit?

not sure about the size limit i dont think so i know a few members eat them but i fillet and use for strip bait very similiar to pike

Don't eat the suckers, but like Ross said - bait.

The flesh is nice and oily and coupled with the toughish skin they make a decent bream bait in the surf (& probably elsewhere)

mate of mine tried it last year.. He thought it was ok, nothing special. Filletted and fried, mixed with a bit of salt, pepper, lemon juice and lemon grass.
