I bought one the other day and iv read it all but im just wondering if its worth the paper its written on.

For eg it says this weekend is going to be poor, so im a bit turned of fishing now for this weekend, but that doesnt mean you wont catch any fish yeah?

With so many other variables in play, you need to take the info and combine it with your own local knowledge to create a total picture.

The almanac is based on historical data, and I have found the best fishing times (major/minor) to be helpful, but not foolproof.

I'd much rather head out on a day that says \"poor\" fishing but in good conditions, than on the \"excellent\" time with poor tides and wind howling.

Worth the investment though I think.
