Blue fin boats

I am currently in the process of 'upgrading' my motor. I need to get in touch with the Blue fin factory to see about getting a mod plate so I can get a bigger motor. I've searched all over the web but every time it comes back to stockists, so does anyone know there contact details.

If I can't get a bigger motor I will sell the boat put it all together and get something a bit more suited to my fishing style.

Just so you're aware, you don't have to get the hull re-rated through the manufacturer. It might be cheaper that way, but as a comparison I had mine done though a licensed marine engineer.

Cost me about $340 to get an extra 20hp rating and this includes the supply of the new compliance plate.

The bloke was Nick Lockyer, based at Coomera but is happy to travel to you. I don't know him apart from making a phone call, and him turning up. I highly recommend his service. This is his website.

Thanks guys. Rhet this is exactly what I was hoping for :woohoo: and the extra 20hp is what I'm after to. Do you think he will travel to Midge point (100k north of Mackay) haha, I'm sure there a few in Mackay, I'll do some research on monday morning.

I know he went to Darwin and did some up there, but he may have tied that it with other business.

A phone call won't hurt I guess.

Thanks again Rhet , I just spoke to the guy you recommended after making a few other related calls and he was the only one that is capable/willing to help, even after speaking to the manufacture.
