queensland Prawn Nets

Hi members,

 

I'm chasing a proper prawn net that isn't mono and preferably with a chain bottom. All the good prawners seem to have these nets, but i'm unable to find these nets at any of the local tackle stores. Does anyone know where I can get one of these nets from?

Why do you not want mono? Cotton ones are too heavy when wet.For a top quality custom one you cannot go past prawning pete on Nuggets forum.

They are raffling one at $5 a ticket but there were only a couple of tickets left yesterday

Thanks Ray. I have since found out that the material is multi mono, so components of mono without the weight of the cotton nets.

 

I'll checkout the nets from nuggets.
