Happy Monday all!

 

Hit Newport canals at first light on Saturday morning and was greeted with some very strong winds. Only managed a few undersized fish and lost 2 good fish. I was fishing 4lbs leader on a 1/24 jig head using a 2inch Zman grub letting the plastic float gently down again structure which seemed to be the most effective. I also threw some hard bodies around for no touches. Finished with a small cod and moses perch. Also copped a mouthful from an angry boat owner for fishing in the canals, but you get that from time to time

At least you made the most of the bad weather and still got a few nice fish.

Looks like they still haven't finished that mansion.
