Not to sound spoiled but this week we went chasing something other than coral trout...

With a nice batch of fillets in the fridge and no desire to slay without reason the targets were drag burners.

A few nice fish jigged up on the shallow reefs using really light gear. Hell fun.

By "light gear" what weight rod and line did you get stretched on? You're spoiled for choice... some very nice fish.
