From 31 January 2017, the Meebun camping area at Wyaralong Dam will be converted to a day use area. Camping will no longer be allowed.

The eight tent-only site has been subject to a number of operational and safety issues, which have created hygiene risks for visitors. The closure is a first step towards Seqwater’s master plan for recreation at Wyaralong and will help Seqwater deliver on a safe, clean and family friendly recreation space for the community.

The Ngumbi camp site continues to operate and is accessible by trails (no vehicular access). The Lilybrook camp site is also still operational, available for events by booking with recreation@seqwater.com.au
Visitors can find alternative camp sites in the area at www.visitscenicrim.com.au or the via the interactive recreation map at www.seqwater.com.au
For more information, please contact Seqwater on 1800 771 497 or email communications@seqwater.com.au
