Lake Moogerah - Temporary closure to in water activities

Lake Moogerah is temporarily closed to all in water activities as a result of heavy rainfall in the catchment and resulting inflows to the lake.

The closure is in the interest of public safety while water quality testing is undertaken.

We will re-open the lake as soon as it is safe to do so. Please follow the direction of staff and signage on-site.
