Hey Lads

My mate and i are going to french island for a weekend to do some gummy shark fishing, ive heard its pretty good there.

Any tips or locations to catch them would be greatly appreciated

Years ago mates of mine would get the ferry across from Stoney Point to Tankerton Jetty and just fish through the night for Gummy's. They did very well using eel for bait. The eel stays on for a long time. Be prepared with some heavy gear because there will be a lot of stingrays as by catch.

I've never been but good luck. 

I should get around to targeting flake more...
