G'day forum members. And, admin, thank you for adding me as a forum member.  Been a member of a few other forums in the past, Kayak Fishing mostly. Since moving to North Queensland 8 plus years ago...I had to give the kayaking a miss...didn't fancy being handbag fodder! anyway, I own a 4.2 Busta these days, having had my share of different boats over the last 40 years...I don't fish as much as I used to, but hopefully will resume my former passion. In NSW I used to target Bream and Flathead. In FNQ I'm still learning how to be a successful angler for Jacks and Barramundi... Glad I don't have to endure reading some of the crap fed through Facebook groups!

Yeah, canoe travel's not recommended up here not even swimming.

We have a few members from FNQ, but they rarely post as they don't know about each other because they are never on at the same time. haha

Are you in a Cairns or one of the smaller towns ?

Actually, I see you are in Forrest Beach. I'm planning a trip to Lucinda in a couple of months, so will wave as we drive by.

With your attitude Brian, you might have to get a permit to come up here. You were just over the border in mexican county not long ago so you'll need to run thru the dip before you come.
