Hi guys, I have a Yamaha f50 tiller steer(no gauges) and a Garmin echo map uhd 75cv.

im struggling to find online how to connect them with an nmea2000 cable. Or if I can without gauges and a dash style set up 

can anyone point me to what I need to buy to connect and view engine data on my sounder?

Looks like you can - counter intuitively by using a Lowrance Yamaha cable.

No idea if that model Garmin has an NMEA 2000 plug on it but if it does you are probably in luck.
