Has anyone picked up any Black Friday deals so far? If so, what was it?

I was going to say I saved a lot by not shopping at all. However your post made me think and inevitably I did need to stock up on some items, so ordered some slugs to restock the supplies. Didn't save a lot as they are cheap but about 2 bucks saving each on 8 of them. I also got some of the new Daiwa J Braid Expedition as a couple of spools are getting down a bit. No discounts on that, though.

Picked up a Abu Veritas spin rod 7'2'' 6-10kg 1pce. Was $165.00 marked down to $79.00 at BCF. I like one pce rods.

Also a  Penn Prevail 2 surf rod 12ft 6-12kg.  $177.00. It was a toss up between the Prevail or a Abu Veritas surf rod 12ft  12-20kg 3pce for $178.00.

Not really Black Friday deals but Japan Lure Shop finally got stock on the new FM Stradic in 5000 size, so that arrived today with some Veritas PE1 Casting Max and a Duo Tide Minnow 140.  They also threw in a Megabass 125 Kageloo popper.  

I might have to duck down to BCF and get some LuckCraft Pointers while they are on sale as well

AUD$30 for the reel, line and two lures.  

And because they are low volume export to Aus, no GST chargeable.

Digitaka is pretty similar but they didnt have the lure I wanted.  I have bought reels with split rings, BKK and Owner trebles etc and just manage the order to keep the shipping cost down.  I think I have enough terminal gear for a couple of years :- )

PS The new Stradic FM series reels are very very nice in the hand.  Spooled up with 300m of Varivas Avani perfectly.  Balances very very nicely on a Shimano TCurve Premium 762XH.
