Where to launch? Runaway Bay

I have a 2 day Oz-Tag comp on this weekend, starts Friday and ends Saturday. It is located at the 'Sports Super Centre' Runaway Bay. I have looked up on Google Earth and I can see a few spots to fish. Never fished there or anywhere close in my layak. Can i launch from the carpark at the shopping centre and chase bream and the sorts from the wall? anyone fished there? or will it be better to launch and kayak around the canals?

Coombahbah Creek and Saltwater Creek cant be fae away from there, Jabiru Island is the place to launch. Jacks, Flathead, Bream, Tarpon and Trevs
