If you invest in a decent camera bag you will hardly notice it. I have a Tamrac Velocity 8x with my 400D, 4 lenses (inc 70-200mm f2.8 Sigma) and a flash as well as cards batteries etc. I have happily carted it around NPD for several hours at a time.
