queensland Fishing at Mooloolaba 12/08/08

Went last night to meet my Old man at Mooloolaba. I decided to take my Plastics and another rod to use with fresh bait. Started off the night with Berkley shrimps in Banana Prawn, got a few hits but no hook ups. My Dad using bait had a bit of a quite period so he asked if he can try one, So on a light surf rod, size 1 running sinker, size 1 hook I wacked 1 on for him, as soon as he cast out BANG, he was on, pulled out a 29cm Bream. Why couldnt I have that luck anyways he couldnt belive it :laugh: I then I just fished with Mullet strips and landed one at 27 and one at 25. Our biggest for the night was a 33cm Bream caught by my Dad. Went home with 7 fish(bream) for a nice feed..
