Good to see the old firm back in action. I need to do a software update on my sounder so I might take the opportunity to rename that spot to “Shark Hole”. A bit frustrating but good to see the Benno family will get a feed. i can never understand why people think it is ok to drive so close to an anchored boat where someone is obviously fishing. Welcome to holiday time fishing, I guess. Was the ramp busy?

I have a mate who can get multiple worms at once like those pros. He has tried to teach me but I am still more like Brett than him. If I can get a few each session, I am happy.

Bought myself 2 Railblaza rod holders and 4 fittings and wrapped them up and put them under the tree. I was still excited to open them on the day!

Good onya Brian. It has been a great year this year. Like you, I have enjoyed getting out and about with people who would otherwise be strangers, on my boat and their’s. You and I have had some fantastic trips and I am looking forward to many more in 2023.

Thanks for the day out, @ellicat. Haven’t had that much reel screaming action for ages. Great contrast to the absolute dead day down the Port yesterday. We might have to gear up a bit and go back there to get some revenge on those toothy theives.

Best not to name people on a public site. Like Hamish said, take it to the police. If you get a new one, maybe mark it with a strip of bright paint to make it easier to spit if someone decides to use it.
