It is 2 piece but is like baby pooh brown in colour... I have bo idea what brand I is there are no markings..... has a cork butt.. -

Be tailor of beaches and some good ocean bream. All the usual suspects! The creek behind the caravan park is great for decent whiting amongst the weed beds.

IT's a tuff year for tipping this year. I try and tip with team lists and what I think will win not my heart. However have changed a few tips over the last few weekends last minute where I should have trusted my gutt feeling. If I hadn't of changed them I would be higher then where I am at now...

Brad how did you go in the Burrum Classic? I was out at woodgate on the weekend doing some reccing and found some nice little spots plus up the beach at Kinkuna looks good too!

Hey lads, Just been given a contract for remainder of the year at Childers for Edqld. So I know it is 45mins to Bunderberg, 45mins to Burrum Heads, 45mins to Maryborough and 45mins to Hervey Bay. Does anyone have any previous experience in these areas?? I am gonna be working Monday - Thursday with long weekends every weekend. I am will be commuting back to Ipswich every fortnight weekend to see my kids from a separated marriage. But also trying to go fishing as much as I can.. Obviously Fraser Island is accessible being 45mins from Barge at Hervey Bay..... But the rest I have no idea about...

What is wrong with the Dragons playing Dufty off the bench still after two rounds of bringing him on with 15 to go and game already lost. Why is Widdup playing Full back? I am so confused! Dufty was amazing all year last year and has speed to burn and breaks the line but they insist on playing him off the bench....

And it's started as it was last year Ellicat out in Front, Dan and I fighting for 2nd,3rd and a surprise wild card of Robbie is in the mix too! WTF happened is he tipping with his head this year not his heart.......

I've heard guys use chuck steak from the butcher cos of the tough fatty grisel on it as well.

Mate just go to any freshwater creek with some servo prawns or some whitebait and you will catch and eel. They are everywhere. Only problem is once you catch one you need to retie your knot and cut all the slimy line off. Good luck!

I have an old glass rod of grandads it is the whippiest rod I've ever used. It is awesome for bream, bass and whiting. But a small bream bends it like a huge Flattie!! -

I still use my dads Snyder glass surf rod with his original old Alvey reel! -

Only problem with bribie is you rarely catch any bloody fish on the surf side. Well I don't anyway. Have fished there don't know how many times, changed bates, used slugs, fresh worm, pippis, changed tides and moons and still to this day I have only caught one tiny dart.....

Best thing for Pike Eels is crab bait or shark bait. They are annoying things!!! but everything has a place in the food chain.

mate anything from servo prawns, garden worms also I caught one a few weeks bak at Kholo on a piece of banded grunter!
