  6. Not with mine atm, but from memory once your out and sounder going, you press the location button on console and from there you can track path or individual gps location.
  7. Its optional. You can track your paths or mark your gps spots but you have to enable it. I've got a striker 4 and found the youtube user instructional videos really helpful. Also link it with garmin active captain for a whole world of in depth charts.

Another awesome day out, many thanks Ray, from the giant bass, to ticking off a new species for myself, seeing the deer and Eagles, picking up the little tips ( I used to use swivels for pater noster rig- not anymore) extremely grateful! P.s. I even had a sneaky little snack of redclaw- threw them in my esky!

  12. Hi Not sure of your location but might be of interest to you. I was speaking with a chap at npd couple weeks back who builds and installs brackets n motors on yaks, explained to me he has a different than standard remote control system and has rewired some for better speed control and is better for the battery. Think he was on pine lakes on Facebook, don't think he's on this forum. I get around on my kayak, motors arnt for me but each to there own.

  16. Hi all 1 of my original posts was after advice on towing behind kayaks, today I actually got some experience with the youngins, towing 2 behind myself! Good fun in the shallows. The boys loved it, nice couple days at poona caught a feed of whiting, sting rays ( better than nothing) small flattys and shovelies. Packing up and heading home tomorrow. Because.....

  19. I did actually take note of where you were and those 2 floats. Il throw an occy strap in my kayak so if I see you out again il hook up to your tinny.
  20. Hi boogieman Im northside, no boat but on the pine from what I hear more often than not, the deep water boat ramp can get busy, there's a ramp behind strathpine shops and can also launch near old petrie mill (kids favourite playground there now) Good luck!
