large jetty at Wynnum

Hey fellas,

I'm pretty new around here, haven't made a post yet but I've gotten heaps of good info so thanks first and foremost.

My question is, trolling over google maps looking for some good locations, the large jetty over at Wynnum (on Wynnum Esplanade) looks pretty good to me. Can anyone confirm/deny this?

If it is a decent spot, what would you recommend as far as baits go. prawns, pilchards, etc?

I took the wife to William Gunn jetty the other day, her first time fishing. She got 2 perch on some little fish I got off ChubbStar. I got broken off by something large under the jetty....Nice spot. It's just near the public swimming pool. (Perret Pie crust didn't work)

is that the largeish jetty sitting at the top of all the parked boats there, close to the mouth of the harbour?

It's in Manly. Took me a lot of trawling the 'net to get it's actual location (I had heard of it) but as with most things I've looked for in Oz, there is not a lot of succinct info on the OzInterNot.....
