well guys i have not been here in a while but back now and i am heading to straddie on the 30th for two weeks any idears of where to start fishing and if any body is going oversend me a pm and we will catch up:fishing:

The rocks between deadmans and frenchmans beaches are my personal favourite.

My dad is over at the moment and has been catching bream, dart, trevs and tailor all on plastics from those rocks.

On live beach worms (caught at main beach) he has been getting plenty of whiting as well.

thanks mate i will try there,do u or anybody know if u catch any crabs around the island

I usually just go were the wind is at my back of the headlands ect and I havn't done any crabbing over there but I have it on good authority that if you win on at the pub there's real chance of Crabs and probs some unwanted bycatch aswell:blink:
