queensland Lake currumundi - Where does Mr, J.Mangrove live?

Hey guys

I'd just like some help with lake currumundi please. My family has a house there and it being the holidays, my mate and i are going to spend a few days there fishing. We're leaving this morning.

So anyways, I've fished the lake many times and I know most of the hot spots but where can i grab a jack? It's also my summer goal to catch a good sized jack and I hear the lake has some.

My dad is still very scepticle that there is any in there; can anyone help prove him wrong by putting me on the fish this week?

Any help with spots, lures, baits, tides and general tactics would be greatly appreciated.

A friend of mine has a house there as well.

He has never caught one but has seen two caught by the bridge along the rocks. Sorry but thats the best help I can give.

He does get massive whiting on poppers there which looks like awesome fun!

Thanks again angus, yeah those whiting sound like great fun. People are always trying to tell me that poppers work for them, i'm never very convinced but i'll give it a go.
