september 08 mack tuna

here is a pic of one of 2 mack tuna i got near mud island, this one went 8 kgs and 86cm in length , i was using a gillies 15g chrome slug. they pull hard these critters , good fun on the 3500 baitrunner and 20lb braid.. just look for the birds and you will get one!!! you can spend some time chasing them around just to land your slug right in the middle of a bust up..when you find some busting up just sit and watch them to see how long and how far they move between each bust up, or try and wind drift up to them, i also found you can go flat out at a school with out shutting the motor down til you have fired a cast right into them..
