GC Seaway 16/01/09 1st attempt

Hi

Long time since I posted. Been a hard few months for me.

Going GC Seaway friday night, NW winds and an incomming tide shud keep it protected for the start of the evenning.

Taking cast net, was planning to stop via tallebudgera/currumbin to get some livies, along with frozen pillies....

The main question is, how fast does it run through there? ie, do i need a fist size sinker?

I have no target fish at this stage.

Gonna drop by luggage on my way home and see how many sharks the boyz have netted ROFLMAO!!!

I'm thinking 15lb line with 150mtr x 30lb braid and 40-50lb trace....

Depends on how fast the tide isripping if I was you I would drift the north wall with livies with a size 4 or 5 size sinker you will get a lot of school Jew if ur lucky

Top of the north wall on the incoming tide there is a big eddy there full of all sorts and if you sling a livey out there hard up against the wall you can get some good jacks if you are prepared to loose some tackle.
