I was VERY excited to go out into the bay... anchor my kayak with a couple of pillies out and just lie there and relax on sunday BUT apparently there is going to be an enourmous swell and heavy winds.

I feel like crying...

Jordan I'm launching the yak from Colmslie early mate planning on being on the water by 4.30am and off by 8.30am and hopefully avoid the winds.

20-30 knote SE in the morning only dropping to 15-20 in the evening, monday still blowy 10-15 E/SE, i hate it when that happens , but the upper coomera river is firing for jacks and flatties, the river from the bridge to the lake is a well protected section of river with nice high banks that keep the wind well above your head, it is awesome lure fishing this stetch and it were i head when the bay blows up!!
