Very underpowered with only a 40hp probably wouldnt plane with more than 2 people on board.

Second trailer looks like it needs work also. Brakes do not seem to be connected so factor in at least $500 for new discs etc.

seriously under powered, 40 more for a 14 foot tinny ,u would want a 70 to 90 at least on that boat. paint = $ its need paint,going to paint the transom and the repairs and patches etc will prob end up painting the whole hull.transom repairs means it prob has had rot in it got watch for that and how good it been repaired.then there is the traitor.so it looks fair for a handy man. it has good and bad parts about it.

what it comes down to is how handy are u and who do u know . can u glass , weld ,paint

and do u have the gear and place to do it.are u going to sell the motor off and buy a bigger 1 .
