going down the BOAT club again this weekend camping and fishing on sth stradie,will hope to get out sunday morning and hit the mackerel down at the mermaid or gravel patch. post results if any

hey mate me n me mate are really into fishing and keen eto fish we go out evey weekend but never have any real luck other then bream and whiting. we only have a little 12ft tinny and want to find some spots for decent fishing. where is mermaid and gravel patch are we able to make it there in the tinny its only got a 25 merc on the back

its an outside run down from the seaway about a 20 to 30 minute run in average weather in my 5.5m tinnie and would be possible in yours only in good conditions .these spots i chase pelagics at and will be my last run for the season then the water gets to cold and snapper become the outside target. have you tried fishing the seaway for tailor or jew along the inside of the north wall
