queensland beginner in brisbane

hey all im new to the forum

im a beginner fisherman in brisbane, i live in the southside around eight mile plains, i wonder where would be some good palces to go fishing or crabbing?

i was thinking raby bay or logan river but i dont know where abouts to go, is it just anywhere in that area where i can fish or are there spots where fish are more common? can anyone help pleas!?

i have heard logan river can be quite good to fish never done it myself though
