sinking braids

im getting my sol 2500 tomorrow which will be my snapper plastics and blade reel. i was wondering if sinking braid is a good option. it already has 12lb micro fuse on it, but has anyone had great experience with sinking braid. also im getting a daiwa heartland 4000 for my raider 5-8kg and was wondering if anyone could recomend line for this.. (mainly tuna and mack spinning in the bay and big plastics). also thready fishing

By the look of the lack of response I would say that is a definite don't bother.

Keep the stren, its a good braid and too expensive to waste.

12lb stren will hold quite a good fish over 12 lb. Now if you think about a 12 lb fish then thats quite a respectable catch in any ones books.

you leader size may vary though depending on the fish your after and how many teeth they have.

I would go 15lb on the 4000, but others may go heavier some may go lighter..
