very happy with the Samurai, its intended use is throwing smaller lures at heavy structure. It throws the MF's a mile but cant wait to load it up on something with a little more red in it B)

Nice.

On that note, sorry to badger with questions but how do you work the MF's?

I got a pack (same colour as yours) in the lighter weight.

I just find that I have to REALLY work to give it action. Not like say a Mask Vibe with can be rolled quite slow for a good vibration...

Or do I have a faulty MF? :P

That is the light model.

Long casts, slow small hops. Basically a constant retrieve but gentle hops seems to work really well

You may have a dud MF, I can really feel the vibration through the rod

Hmm cool. Cheers mate.

To be honest I have not even tried the second one from the pack yet. So ill give it a whirl.

Hey Jeff. MF40 is a newish lure from Berkley. They are similar (not indentical) to a 40mm version of a Jacal Mask Vibe. Well thats the generally thrown around anology anyway. They are apparantly releasing a larger model soon, not sure how big but I have heard 60mm.

They are pretty good value as for 12 bucks you get 2 in a packet.
