Headed out with Smithy on the sunday for a troll and livebait for some speedsters.

Let the pics explain the day

First livebait didnt last 5min to this Wahoo

20min later we lost another livey to our first billfish. Not even 7am and we notched up 1 wahoo and marlin, pretty good start to the day

By 10am we had 1 Wahoo and 3 Marlin caught, quite an action packed morning to say the least!!!!!!!

And we released another wahoo boatside.

In total we caught 3 Marlin & 5 Wahoo and 1 Dolphinfish. One marlin I did a solo effort on which I was hoping to have the chance to do, very tiring 50min or so, then popped the leader as we leadered it to the boat. So still class as a capture

Another successful charter from Smithy, so a big thanks again!!! My advice get out there while the Marlin are biting there heads off!!!!

Awesome post and killer pics SR. That marlin action is berserk.

Looks like a reasonable swell out there in some of the shots?

the swell was around the 1m-2m mark most the day with the occasional 3m swell coming through Ben, hardly any wind which made the day reasonable

Yeah that looks about right, marlin pics 6-7 look like the occasional 3m you're refering to.

Certainly doesn't look uncomfortable and no shortage of distraction even if it was .

yeah was fairly comfy ben, the stabicraft was built for this The time between swell was a bit so was a gradual swell and barely noticeable really
