Well headed out yesterday with my oldest with the boat having it's first donut.

Headed up the pine, things looked promising with a hookup first cast on plastic. Obviuosly didn't set the hook though. Same second cast then that was that, fish decided they weren't going to play the game.

Fished some bait for a while in the snags for nothing before fishing one of the rock walls and getting absolutely bricked. Typically I took my eye off the rod for a second and that was all it needed, straight into the wall.

Oh well hopefully will have some better luck up the coast on Friday.

I would rather go out and get bricked than sit there and feed the toads and 2 inch bream.

We fished the Pine on Saturday and had a similar bricking incident. Got a GT, bream and flatties though so it wasn't all bad.
