queensland Woody Point 23/10/10

Hey all,

I believe this is my first report popped my AFO report cherry haha

anyway, the girlfriend and i headed out to just left of the woody point jetty around 7am on saturday morning. for the first hour i used soft plastics, switch blade and an sx40 with only one bump on the soft plastic. my girlfriend managed to get a 20cm flatty on her first cast just using some prawns.

after she got a lil bored and stopped fishing for a second i grabbed her rod, threw on a fresh prawn and threw it out. not 5 mins later zzzzzzzzz, the drag was set extremly light lol. after fixing that up, i reeled in a nice size bream, nothing spectacular but still a nice fish.

we left not to long after that as the sun was starting to get the better of us. was bloody hot!!

although we didnt catch a great haul of fish, it was still a awesome way to kick of the weekend after a long wee at work. we also managed to spot some dolphine swimming around in the bay.

il try and throw some more reports up from now on, ive been quite slack
