has anyone fished the north NSW inland mountains for trout and could i get some tips?

Haven't fished the area you are asking but when i was kid growing up in Bathurst i used to fish Ben Chifley Dam, Lake Lyle and the Macquarie river...

Didn't use lures then, just good ol' earth worms & tiger worms, Trout used to love 'em !!!

When we fished still water or the dams we used corn kurnels as burley, YES corn kurnels and it worked a treat, just be careful not to over feed them too much

Found the proof in the pudding or should i say stomach after filleting and gutting some of the trout to find the corn inside them
