Collecting Yabbies

hi does any one know were you can collect yabbies around the mouth of pine river or around redcliffe some were?

i had a look at some of the banks last weekend but had no luck. I havent come across any in the last few years i have been fishing the pine.

There doesnt seem to be any around at all, and the only area i could think there were possbily any is Hays Inlet.

It seems they have never bounced back from those that used to take everything and anything from that area years ago.

Its a pity really, some fresh live bait would be nice for a change in the old piney!

look for any sand with lots of holes in it, plenty of flats in front of shorncliffe and around the hornibrook bridge that will hold them.

Pretty sure i saw some holes in the sand on low tide out at the mouth of shultz canal a week ago.
