Daytime prawns?

Quick question guys ..... Can you net prawns during the day? I'm struggling today!

first post! yeah I'm not having much luck today either, and now that I think of it even though I probably do 80% of my fishing at night, from memory I often don't get many when cast netting during the day...strange, and I'm at the same spot that I got heaps of nice big ones on Friday night. Hope you got onto some anyway!

u can still get them in the daytime, but way better at night

Thanks for the replies. We got two from about 30 casts near bulimba boat ramp ..... usually get heaps there at night.

Went to the dark side and used pillies ... then flicked a spinner around. didn't get a touch all day.

when not in prawn sesion this peevs me off also ( stipid prawns
