noosa north shore vs boreen point

The lakes up around boreen harrys hut hold good bull sharks and before it hits the brckish of the everglades you can get bream, flathead and jacks.. my pick at this time of the year would be the north shore up closer to double island, lots of good gutters for bream, dart, tailor and you might even get yourself a nice jew at night an early morning, then you can also head up and fish the headland for just about anything that swims

The crowds on the north shore will be out of control, as usual and the dreaded shit weed that blows in on a easterly/northerly can make fishing there very difficult. Up at the lighthouse would be the best bet as it doesnt get as weedy and you can shoot over to the rainbow side easily. Of course, if the weed stays away the whole length of the north shore is awesome. Boreen would be good too but you need a boat or yak to use the area properly

Boat ? If you are in a boat then camping at Boreen allows access to the Noosa River which is good but will be crowded at that time of year.

If no boat then definitely Northshore as BassTracker says. It'll be busy too. Don't dig holes in the sand dunes though or you may end up with septicemia from all the buried turds.

It's a true story. A few years ago 3 or 4 blokes ended up in hospital after they competed in their annual hole digging competition there. :pinch:
