heading up to old woman island for a fish next weekend. if anyone is interested you can join us. havent fished it yet so dont know what is biting exactly

Mate I might be keen, Ive fished it a few times and there are some marks not far from it that i wouldnt mind checking out. The eastern side is good (great to pack the boards too if there is swell, good left and right off either side of the island) Id imagine the sharking would be good as there is a deep trough between it and the mainland called shark alley! The eastern side is the access to the island but its a bit Xy, there are a lot of cuda that can be annoying off the eastern side too..

Old woman island is also known as mudjimba island, it's directly out from mudjimba, I've got friends who for years have paddled over there and back to surf. The fishing is pretty good

Ive tentaivly booked in to head back up to double island point with mad mullet but if that doesnt happen Ill take my boat for a run
