resolved Unread Posts Indicators

Has anyone elso got this problem: When I'm on the home page, it shows what posts are unread in the latest forum posts column, but when I am in the forum they all go blank as if I've read them all. And when I go into the forum home page, none of the forum subheadings (like General Fishing, Saltwater etc) have the new post alert.

Is this to make the forum faster? or an accident?
