over the next 2 weeks I'll be home on holidays looking after my wife who will have just come out of a operation then 4 weeks after that she's got to take it easy and that means not much driving and fishing.

Yes she'll be ok .

You can try the broadwater landbased for whiting with poppers and if that doesn't work i know not to go there.

Even though cough i know your joking about fishing in my place
