queensland In Cairns for a few days

I'm in Cairns for the next 4-5 days and am keen to get out for a fish, if anyone is heading out on either land or boat based and they've got a spare spot I'm very keen to hook up. I'm good for day or night sessions, just have to work around a bit of family sightseeing.

I'm also thinking about hiring a tinny for a couple of days so if you know your way around the river but don't have a boat let me know and if we can sort something out and a boat is available I'll grab one. I've got a couple of pots and I'd love to get my first muddy and have a bag full of lures waiting to be used.

Hopefully there are enough sheltered spots to get out of this average weather...
