Hi Guys,

Heading down on a road-trip with a mate leaving this friday returning wednesday. Only land-based fishing.

Couple of questions:

1. I understand I'll need to purchase a fishing license if I want to fish, I'm assuming this would be similar to Tweed, Ie, I can pick it up from a servo of tackle shop?

2. I can't use/take a castnet?

3. Could you point me in the direction of the website that lists any green zones, bag limits, size limits etc. I know of DPI in QLD, but unsure of the NSW version. Both salt and fresh (dams) (will be fishing the Orara river for perch as well)

Mate, just watch the closed season for Bass in NSW and the no fishing waters, I think the Orara has some closed waters?..

Some cracking Estuaries down that way too
