queensland 20 minute fishing report

Headed down to breakfast creek with my dad it was blowing strong winds when we got there. Ventured down to the platform where we were going to fish off only to find that it's a no fishing platform now (I don't know when that happened) anyways turned and around and ventured down the other end to the wooden bike path. Threw a line in and in a space of 5 minutes hooked up on a good size catfish. Next cast hit something at the bottom and got stuck "dam" line gave way to the snag and line snapped. Wind picked up so decided to head off and go try the gc area tomorrow morning. My dad got a couple of good bites but no fish.

overall afternoon was ok, caught a fish inside 20 minutes and my dad got a few bites

Hard to get away from the wind at the moment but you got a fish as well, bonus.

Wow you must be keener than me casting straight into 25+ knot winds, whenever it gets above 20knots i hide in the creeks or canals preying on small fish   . But at least something came out of that session
