THE little orange Tide Guide is back.

Publisher The Great Outdoors Publications said phone apps indicated that digital predictions would replace print. But when a 2015 Tide Guide failed to appear in the shops, a huge outcry resulted.

The 2016 Tide Guide’s predictions are now in the large typeface of the official Bureau of Meteorology format, but users will not lose their familiar feet and inches.

The back cover has a flap that folds out to become a placeholder and on it is a conversion table that will sit opposite the predictions. Special events can be recorded in a daily diary while the colour fish

ID section contains the legal bag and size limits of popular species.

Pricing has not changed at $6.60.

The Tide Guide is available now at newsagents, independent tackle shops and all the usual places.

These are great little books, they have coloured pics for IDing  many species with up to date size and bag limits, fishing rigs and knots, pocket size, great for keeping in a tackle bag.
