A little bit of dirty water did not affect the fishing at Hinze western arm today.

Rick and myself went to the western arm with a leisurely 10 am start. The water was quite discolored after the recent rain. The main purpose of the trip was to collect shrimp for the PRFMA tagging weekend but naturally we had to see if the shrimp would catch fish before returning home.

After Tuesdays effort of using up too many shrimp we decided to limit our fishing to a 30 minute session. 
Nil at the first spot so we tried some new territory and ended up with 23 bass before reluctantly departing.no monsters with the best just over 40 and all still swimming.

Very keen to finally have a fish again.  Had 14 hours of exams this week so the weight is now off my shoulders.  Can't wait.
