Alloy Welding A Electric Motor Mount

I bought an electric motor without realising that I'd need a plate mounted on the front to raise it above my bow rails and to avoid it hitting the windscreen. Today I had the plate fabricated and couldn't be happier with the job. cant wait to give it a test run!

Thanks mate I got the boat new in February and its taken me till now to get it set up how I want it. now I can go back to spending my Money or fishing gear

Looks schmick.

I'd keep an eye on the mount, just check it every now and then for any sign of cracks. I dont think you have any worries, but  it has got a pretty good bending moment on it, better safe than sorry.

Yeah the bloke who welded it told me the exact same thing but he said it should be fine due to the size of the weld. First time unhooking the boat I stood up and hit my head on it. Should have got rounded Corners
