Underwater Photography...

Anyone who reads a fishing magazine would have noticed the massive trend of half in half out fishing pictures.

While many anglers still do not mind the "fish in sink" shot to brag (i am talking to you dad) I confess a real enjoyment of effort in fishing photography. I mean if you love a sport as much as many of us do... Why not love every part of it...

So has anyone had much success with underwater (fully or half half). I think they personally can look amazing with the fish in its element, lure displayed etc.

Below are a couple of example of what I mean...

So the obvious starting point... Waterproof camera. Check!

But is a fish eye lense or anything required?

Gday Angus

Essentially you need to increase the lens size of your chosen camera, as the standard small lens doesnt give you the surface area to cover both above and below the water line. For a gopro, they're called a dome case - that'll give you an idea of what you need.
